Sizing

How to ensure a good fit?

To ensure you receive garments that are just the kind of fit you like, please take a moment to measure yourself and then use those measurements to select the correct size for you. The relevant sizing table is displayed on each garment page for your convenience.

Measuring Tips

  • Ask someone to assist with measuring - its much easier to get the tape in the correct position.
  • Keep the tape firm but don’t pull tight.
  • Garments may vary in size specifications depending on the style and ease allowance, but they will still fit the body size indicated.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of bust and across shoulder blades at rear
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline keeping the tape comfortably taut
Hip: Measure around fullest part of seat, approx. 20cm down from waist

NOTE: Measurements provided are actual garment measurements, not ‘to fit’ measurements. You’ll need to add an average of 10cm for ease of fit. By this we mean, if you like your garments reasonably snug or fitted, add between 5 and 10cm.  If you prefer your garments fairly loose and roomy you’ll need to add between 10-20cm. For example, say my bust measurement is 120cm, and I like my garments fairly loose, I’d need to choose a size that has a measurement of at least 130cm at the bust.

If you’re still unsure, and would like assistance, please feel free to send us an enquiry at info@catherinesplus.com.au. Include your measurements and we’ll assist you in choosing the perfect size.

Stretch Fabrics

Stretch fabric garments (particularly pants) are often worn a little more fitted, depending upon the design. If you like your stretch pants a little more snug, please take that into account when choosing your size.
